Since finishing our Marathon in March & being forced into quarantine due to COVID-19, my body has been thrown quite the curveball. While I took a much needed break from logging long miles running, I have continued to stay active, but my efforts have not been as consistent as I know my body is capable of. Over the years, I’ve discovered that collectively my mind, body, & soul THRIVE on setting goals & persevering to achieve them.

Last night Ryan & I chatted about what goals we both want to intentionally set & consistently complete during the month of May. While some goals are unique to ourselves & careers, we did find common ground on goals we intend to accomplish, together. There’s no denying that there’s power in numbers, so if you need accountability, look no further. Let’s do this!!!

Daily Goals

Drink 2L of Water

Excludes coffee. Tip: Use a 1L refillable water bottle to easily track intake

30 minutes of Exercise

Run, walk, bike, swim, HIIT, yoga, pilates, etc. Move your body for 30!

10,000 Steps

Track steps using an Apple Watch, Garmin, step tracker, apple health, etc.

10,000 steps = 5 miles Just keep moving… Just keep moving…

100 Ab Exercises

Crunches, sit-ups, bicycles, russian twists, leg lifts, planks, etc. You pick!

10 Pushups

The more often you do them, the easier they get! Modified versions: pushup from knees, standing pushup from wall

15 minutes of Reading

Get cozy in your corner & feel the stress melt away with each page turned. Reading is also a great way to wind down before sleep at night & let your mind escape reality. At least 15 minutes, everyday!
