Homemade Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe hass avocados
  • 1/2 a medium tomato chopped
  • 1/3 cup red onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 tbs. cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 lime squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt & to taste

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, mash avocados using a fork until a creamy consistency.
  • Mince garlic, dice tomatoes & onions, & finely chop cilantro- add all to bowl.
  • Squeeze juice of 1/2 a lime & sprinkle salt evenly.
  • Mix all together thoroughly. Add additional salt & lime to personal taste.

Ingredients

Strawberry Mint Mule

  • 2 large strawberries chopped
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh mint 6-8 leaves
  • 1/2 a lime squeezed
  • 2 oz. vodka Titos
  • 4-6 oz. diet ginger beer

Grapefruit Mule

  • 1 grapefruit wedge
  • 1/2 a lime squeezed
  • 2 oz. vodka Absolut grapefruit
  • 4-6 oz. diet ginger beer

Instructions

  • Cut grapefruit or strawberries. Place inside mule copper mug or small dish. Squeeze in juice from 1/2 a lime.
  • Skip to next step for grapefruit mule. For the strawberry mint mule, activate the fresh mint by “clapping” mint leaves in your hand. Add in with strawberries.
  • Muddle the fruit using a muddler or handle of a spoon until fruit is pureed.
  • Add in vodka, ginger beer, & mix thoroughly with spoon. Drink with a straw to avoid the fruit floating at the top. Garnish with strawberry/grapefruit, mint, & lime.
